Excellent Book/Storyline, Terrible Narration
The continuing story of ACOTAR is wonderful! Loved the storyline: romance, action, female empowerment, and redemption. HOWEVER, Stina Nielsen’s voices, overdramatization, and “pauses” were unnecessary as the story is powerful enough to stand on its own. I will definitely listen again and recommend others to read (listen to) the series despite the poor choice in narration.

This book is all encompassing
So good! In the beginning I hated Nesta… everything about her annoyed me. But the character build up was amazing! The way Sarah writes her story is so complete, it brings you with her. Loved it all

A lot of backlash on the narration
Before listening to this book I read the reviews and everyone bashed the narrator. I loved it. Yes she was so different than the previous ones but so was this book. I thought I was very symbolic to the book. This was Nesta’s story and I think that she captured it beautifully. This was an amazing book.

The author's understanding of what a person goes through when dealing with traumatic experiences is very accurate. I felt like part of me healed in this book along with Nesta, Gywn and Emery.

I mean... eh
This performance was really cringeworthy. Especially in the sex scenes. So uncomfortable. Also, the voices she uses for the males are not that good and were inconsistent.

Narrator for this book is awful
Love this series! Have binged all the audiobooks in the past few weeks. But I have a complaint with this recent one. The narration. I feel if there is a series that if there are different narrators that they should listen to the previous narrations and keep the same mannerisms of speech of the character. The others were all similar until this one and it is driving me crazy. So much so I am leaving this review only 2 hours in. I hope I make it through the next 20 with this narration.
**Edit she made Aziel’s voice sound like the godfather!! I don’t think I can make it through the rest. I am so distracted by this awful exaggerated narration I can’t enjoy the book.

so good!! my favorite one yet in this series
I liked the Valkerye back plot, and that they toned sown the Fayre Rhyse love fest, it was borderline obnoxious at the end of the last book. Now hurry up and get the next one out SJM!!!

Great story bad narrator
Ugh the narration made it so hard to get through this story. The book itself is a lovely story and I am glad Neysa’s story has been told. Her healing, her growth, the plot of it all was great, but the narrator was so dramatic and overwhelmed the characters I loved. Everyone’s voices, save cassian, was awful and it felt so over done. Maybe reading is better than listening
