One of my all-the me favorite books!
Narrator's speaking is a little slow for my taste, but she performs the parts very well . The story of this strong woman is one that will stay with you for a long time. It is well-written and moves along at the perfect pace.

lifelong favorite
I read this book first when I was in high school and it is so special it has always been one of my very favorites. I have read it more times than I can count and it is amazing everytime. Her way of going through daily life is so vibrant you can see every moment as if it were real. This book sucks with you days and weeks after your read it because the characters end up feeling like friends. Do yourself a favor and read it. You will not regret it.
