Fun ghost sotry

I am a true crime fan and a skeptic but this is a fun story even for me to listen to :D it tells a little bit more than what I knew happened at Fox Hollow. The interview with " the one who got away" was excellent though I have to say not saying the name of something only makes its power over you more because there is fear in its name you so you are afraid to utter it

Great listen

The author includes both the true history of the crimes committed at Fox Hollow and the paranormal experiences he and other people have witnessed. Highly recommend all of Estep’s books as an owner of haunted property myself.

Interesting

I always love reading the big debate of science vs paranormal. Whether it’s fiction or non fiction I love having a open mind to see how the two will clash or views are changed throughout the course of the story.

the history of the house

A little too long for me. Narration was good. Enjoyed the history and details.

Outstanding

Very good book. Right up my ally. Well-Read. I enjoyed this book. I first saw it on Ghost Adventures my number one show. This went into more detail.

True Crime + Paranormal

This might be my favorite book by Richard Estep. It’s a combination of true crime, and the paranormal events surrounding the murders that occurred thereafter. I love the combination of scary stories people have experienced on the property, while also getting to hear what evidence Richard and his team uncover. Fascinating book! Highly recommend!

Very interesting and believable

I enjoy watching some of the tv shows such as Ghost Hunter but take it with a grain of salt. Although, I do believe there is some truth to it. This is my first experience listening to a non- fiction book such as this and I found it very interesting. Also, I was impressed with the writer / paranormal investigator. He is obviously a compassionate man and I found him to be very believable. However, whether you believe in the paranormal or not, this book is fascinating and one you cannot put down. I hope he puts out more audible books!

Well laid out story. Narrator was easy to listen to. Interesting story without sensationalism. Worth a listen.

Heating the story no one in Indy talks about…

Grew up in Indy and remember the Baumeister case. I was super young and the local news didn’t speak about the atrocities in depth.

The novel touches on the history of the home and the well known strange events that surround the property. Even better, the author & narrator add more information that we, the general public may not know.

If you are a history buff and like the supernatural, this is the book for you.

Neat start, but overall underwhelming.

Enjoyed this overall. While they do state that it is less about the murders than it is about the hauntings at Fox Hollow Farm, the true excitement happens in the first hour or two of the book. It pulls you in and then essentially takes you down a drawn out slog though the hauntings that happened on the property to an unsatisfying conclusion of events. Not that it should be any different as it is non-fiction. Just feel it could have been arranged differently to keep the listener engaged.
