Captivating
What an incredible read! I was instantly hooked from the first chapter all the way through. The writing was fantastic, and I truly appreciated all of the representation that felt natural and easy.
I want the narrator to narrate my life. They brought the story to life and I could listen to their voice tell me about the weather and be swept up in it.

Not a typical fantasy saga.

The characters in this book!
Amazing characters and character development + relational development! Love the real world elements of sign language, prosthesis, and lgbt+ relationships ❤️ love the voice actors accent too!

Narrator threatened to kill it.
The characters were good. They could have been bland in their tropes but the author really gave them a good depth. The story too had a twist I didn't see coming.
The narrator was monotone. No one and nothing was different. it made it hard to keep going.

It's a good one!
There is a lot of World-building, epic, character growth, in & out battles fought. The narrator Kit Griffiths has a smooth voice that makes it enjoyable to listen.

Amazing!
I LOVED this book. The language was magical and the story classic. Some people complained about the narrator but I liked her too, especially how she voiced the various gods. It was like an epic saga told around a campfire at night. Truly a remarkable debut. Can't wait for the sequel.
