Jo Lee is the greatest swordsman that ever lived. His lover is the greatest wizard the world has ever known. When Jo Lee disappears Anna struggles with emotions that are foreign to her. Grief, anxiety, apprehension; what does a dragon know of these?
In this sequel, the spark of an old war is rekindled. Reckless wizards believe that they should rule the human realms. They threaten a world that is shared by older races (Elves and Dwarves). The Elders remain poised to destroy the threat that is Humanity.
Jo Lee Validad could end this war before it starts and placate the elder races. But even the Great One, Anaxiunara cannot find him. Her lover is abducted. She is beside herself with grief. Who would tempt the wrath of one so powerful as she?
Anaxiunara struggles with self-imposed restrictions. Love is a powerful magic. To know this magic she has made herself human. A side effect of being human, she has forgotten how to be a dragon.
