  • I Want to Move On with Lauren Vander Linden
    May 18 2024

I'm justified in hating this person--they hurt me. They gossiped about me. I didn't know Christians would act like this. How can God love the people that hurt me? Sound familiar? Lauren’s first book I Want to Move On: Break Free from Bitterness and Discover Freedom in Forgiveness digs into the pain of being hurt, the narratives we tell ourselves to stay angry and bitter, and how to truly move on. Her book is honest, authentic, validating, and inspiring. During this episode, Lauren will be sharing insights from the book as well as her own personal faith journey. If you’re stuck in pain, anger, and bitterness from a past hurt or betrayal, tune in, and make sure to go buy her book once it comes out!

  • 25 Words of Wisdom (what I wish I knew at 16)
    May 4 2024

I’m not going to lie to y’all and tell you I have it all figured out. I don’t! But I have learned a thing or two in the first 25 years of my life. Here’s a compilation of some of the most important lessons I’ve learned, all of which I wish I knew when I was a teenager. A couple favorites:

How you talk to yourself MATTERS.

Worry less about what other people think about you and the life you’re building, and more about what YOU think about it.

Foreboding joy doesn’t lessen pain or suffering. It just takes away the joy.

  • A Tribute to Matthew Perry, Being Kind, and the Mental Load
    Nov 4 2023

This week, we're talking about the death of Matthew Perry, his life, and what we can learn from his legacy. We'll discuss the importance of being kind to others and having grace for the mental load each person is carrying, and how, sometimes, that heavy mental load causes people to behave in interesting ways (like pulling your hair at your locker when you're a sophomore in high school). True story. Tune in to hear the rest!
