The narrator. I enjoy Richard Ferone much more.
Robert Petco’s was not enjoyable everything else was excellent.

Excellente!

Fast paced, classic story of good versus evil. Lots of twists and turns make for an enjoyable and engaging story. Having read all the “Toxic” series, I rate this as the best. WELL DONE!

Another exciting one

The only thing I would have liked is that it focused more on Lucas. Aside from that I thought it was a great book and had some good excitement. I understand Lucas is getting older as a character but I do miss his more hard headed mischievous days. And hearing more about shrek and Jenkins and dell and all those guys. Maybe it bring us back up to speed with some of the older characters.

Such a real possibility of a plot!

I love the Letty character and really enjoy the stories featuring her.Give me more of her!

Letty and Lucas on the case!

The Prey stories are always good entertainment. I love Lucas, and though I can take Letty if I suspend my rational brain (let's face it--do you know any 25 year old any near as calm, cold, together, etc., and with such a job?) I enjoyed the story and the characters. It's a good reminder/warning of what could happen.
***slight spoiler: for such a genius, the location did seem like a poor choice. And as things progressed, I would have gone to a WalMart or fast food restaurant immediately with my vials, rather than wait. And if you know that the situation is "hot" in New Mexico--why not drive out of state? But, thank goodness for the world, even genius mad scientists make mistakes and the Davenports are very lucky.

Another Lucas Davenport Classic

I may be biased as this is my favorite series but I was not disappointed with this book. Just as every other book in the series, this keeps you on the edge of your seat. It is definitely worth the credit.

Always love John Sandford, but…

…he never called Weather?? Insane. The narrator is primarily for Lettie, I guess. In my head Lucas is voiced by Richard Ferrone & nobody else comes close.
The story seemed more than possible & pretty intense. Too close to COVID leaking from a lab & changing the whole world!

Fast moving action!

Narration was excellent and made it easy to keep up with a large cast of characters. I planned to listen sparingly to save the read for travel, but it was too good! I highly recommend this book!

The catastrophic event

The heroics of all characters is excellent
And the resourceful solutions believable
Hopefully America has these types in our services

It is an incredible story well developed with the expected and much appreciated John Sanford “Davenport” idioms (?)… thx for another great story.
