Immersive experience
What a great audiobook. Leading on from the excellent first installment The Scribe, it wastes no time in getting straight into the action. I loved how the protagonists push the deceit uphill in the first half of the story only for it to unravel and get out of hand in the second half. A.A. Chaudhuri has managed to keep the legal lingo digestible and interesting and there were several ‘wow’ moments that I had not predicted. One of my favorite legal thrillers brought to life by the multi talented David Thorpe. I can’t recommended it highly enough.
