Challenging and encouraging - a much needed book, especially for the American church. It does a great job of marrying theological with philosophical with practical.

Thank you Tyler for an impassioned, creatively crafted primer on the ultimate and most essential key to communion with God. I highly recommend to anyone and everyone no later how experienced you are in conversation with Jesus.

After reading this book, I feel like the disciples who reflected back on precious time with a stranger who turned out to be Jesus… “didn’t our hearts burn within us as he talked with us on the road and explained the Scriptures to us?!”

Enlightening

Tyler Staton is one of my new favorite authors. I enjoyed his perspective on Biblical prayer. He used some incredible stories from his own life and expounded upon famous examples of prayer in the Bible- both old and New Testament, as well as praying Christians over the last 2000 years. Loved this book and recommended it to my church staff already!

Highly recommend this book!

This Book on prayer is not only practical, but inspirational. The author digs into the true character of God—our all powerful, loving Father, etc. And he walks through the passage of Jesus teaching his disciples to pray. Most admirable is the honesty of this book, it hides from nothing. The author vulnerably shares his own prayer journey which has inspired me to spend more time quiet before God…to just enjoy time with him—time in relationship w him.
