This book is very very very....very very dirty. Lots of sex. After all that there is also a great story and great characters. If you want something that gets your blood flowing read up, if you like supernatural stories read up. If your on a family vacation surrounded by kids or nuns or smelly cousin larry, DONT READ UP. It would be hard to explain your boner.

Wished it was more "story"

Well I purchased this book because I found the disclaimer hilarious and was looking forward to something that broke a few rules...I'm far from a prude and love a good scene as much as the next person, but I thought this book was so overly saturated with sex that it made it difficult to get through it. Now the overall story is very interesting especially the character Alex and his other lives...that's the only thing that finally got me through to the end is wanting to know more about what was up with him. I would love to know how the story continues, but I don't think I can manage the other books if it's more of the same. I gave it a 3 star because there is potential there for a really good story, but it's just waaaay too much pointless naughty bits taking away from it. I listened to several other books before I finally got through this one lol.

Pretty much almost every guy's fantasy.

No denying it, this book series is definitely geared toward the male audience, and one who favors the fantasy of a harem type world where he sits at the center of attention. Now that is not to say that the book is bad but definitely do go in realizing that you are not going to be reading some urban fantasy with cute, subtle romance. The sex is vividly described, VERY vividly. The story unfolds and play out in a manner one would easily much guess at with very few cases of surprises. While certain characters such as the foul mouthed angel, Rachel, often providing a lot of moments of hilarity, for the most part the other characters are pretty standard. While I would like to say the females are unrealistic, one must realize that this is after all a fantasy, a sexual one at that, geared toward the male population, and then the whole angel and succubus thing. Point made. As for the narrator, Tess Irondale does a remarkable job providing a voice to a character. The males can be a bit off at times, but it is understandable and something one gets use to quickly. Overall, it's a pretty fun listen. Of course it is definitely not for everyone, but for the male reader whom always wondered what it would be like to be surrounded by beautiful women at your whim, this is right up their alley. For anyone else? Maybe not so much.

She brings the seductive voice makes you feel like she's in the room with you.

Book 1&2 were awesome books,everyone should read the warning before reading just to be aware of the content. Once you know what you're in for you'll enjoy this series. I was provided these audiobooks at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review

Sexy and Solid Story

At its core, it is a guy fantasy story. The hero is a really good guy and in this story, the good guy wins - even if a little worse for wear at times. He is surrounded by good friends (the "help you move bodies" kind of friend). Some of these friends are "beautiful women friends with benefits" and he has a pair of serious loves. The story has no shortage of sexy parts, but there is a story here. The author has a long term plot and coming back to this book after listening to the second, I can see where he is laying down clues for things you will really find out in the second book. The characters are done well enough that I cared about them. The book was a bit heavy at times on "relationship discussions". (The hero has a tough time believing that he is worth what he has) The voice acting by Tess Irondale was first rate. It was a step up above just narration and several instances she was definitely acting. All and all a very nice story that I can see listening to another time or two.

Great story and Tess Irondale really brings it to life. Well worth listening too you won't be disappointed.

never thought I'd say too much sex.

Like I said, i never thought I'd say too much sex but this one kind of overdid it got to the point where it was almost nonsensical the amount of sex better having and it took away from the story

Nasty

Dirty, but lots of fun! It was laugh out loud funny and downright sexy on numerous occasions.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The story was alright, instead of getting the sex "tingle" that you get when there is just that right amount….it just overwhelmed me.

Racey is an understatement.

Good story line with the addition of a college students fantasy and more like a wet dream.
