Narration is painful

Love the series, but hard to get through with W.G. as the narrator. Maybe the worst I’ve heard in over 400 books in my library.

Bad narration made book difficult to enjoy

Was so looking forward to this book but Narrator was horrible. I did enjoy the story

Interesting story but difficult to listen to. I do a better job reading to my children

A terrific story and a great narrator. A book that all should read though a novel has a deep meaning and story to tell

Wonderful story horrified at the ignorance of my four Bears I’m older than lovely. I wish I had the words to express my feelings. Beautiful story.

Camino should have watched the sunset after book 1

Story was good. Whoopi did a good job reading it. New characters and location would have helped tremendously. I did not see the real point of Bruce and Mercer being back. Yes I understand their role but it is just stretching too far.

Hopefully the Camino series will end as a trilogy unless something changes. Camino Island was such a great book and now its legacy is being lowered due to the other 2 books.

The History of Camino Island

Had I read who was doing the audible I wouldn't have purchased. I would've just bought the book. Whoopi didn't do the book justice. I've read or listened to every book by John Grisham and this was horribly read that I couldn't finish.

Story was interesting but not well told.

I have never found any John's books bad or even just not good this one is the exception. don't wast your time or money. The narrator was also a poor choice.

Engaging

Loved this novel! I was hooked from the first chapter! Great story told very well!

Story within a story

loved this book. best john had done in years. there is a story and a story within the story and there must be 15 subplots. really worth the effort. you do not have to read the other 2 camino books first but it might be fun to do. thanks john.. I still think the racentoor and bleachers are the best.
