91 hours of "worth the credit"
I have exhausted this universe, or so I thought. I thought I was burnt out after the mercy for hire missions. I didn't realize I needed the prequal but for sure, I did. Everything I loved about Galaxy Outlaws and all the books in the in the Black Ocean series, lives in this one. I love every second of it. Seeing the influences that formed "Brad" was awesome. Mort and his deadly arrogance. More of Chuck's sleaziness. It is all so good.

Why is this not a TV series???
Thoroughly entertaining adventures! Easily one of my favorite series and thankfully there are hours and hours of story that never derails from the storyline. I feel like dysfunctional family now has a new entry in dictionaries all over the galaxy! Well done!

You can’t go wrong
You can’t go wrong with JS Morin books. Especially with Mikael Naramore reading it with such great character depth. It’s like a movie in your head.

Like a long chat with an old friend.
The pacing of this series a bit slow and meandering but beautifully rich and satisfying overall as the backstory of Mort, the Ramseys, and the Ruckers twist and turn.

Continuing the Awesomeness!
Another fantastic Audio book by Morin and Naramore! Engrossing story, loveable cast of characters, and genius writing...even the subtle humor is awesome! Obviously we can't see the text , but I caught the Simpsons humor in story 15 and I believe the spelling of the place Mort mentions is "Yvan Eht Nioj" 😆 Very fitting! Humor like this makes this whole series even more enjoyable!

A great listen for its length!
I really like the of clash between magic and technology. I purchased mainly because of the length of the story. The characters were interesting and this book kept my attention throughout.
