  • When Emily met Corey, her first thought was that he was too good to be true. Corey was well known in town as being a great but strange guy, which quirky art girl Emily was totally on board with. So, she brushed off his jokes about locking her in a basement if she ever tried to leave him, thinking that was just his weird sense of humor. Things moved fast and Corey asked Emily to move in. She took him up on his offer, thinking this situation would be like a never-ending vacation. But after a couple of months of honeymoon bliss, Emily got pregnant, and things started to change.

Exactly the way how you get caught

I was in exactly the same situation. The charming luring me into his web and wanting to have a baby..then the choking and verbal abuse etc....I got out but he still shadows me. It has been 5 years since the divorce and restraining order and I still get constant reminders that he is still out to get to me. He said that I am going to look after him for the rest of his life...guess it still angers him that I am not. Good luck to anyone who is still in this situation xxx
