Informative read
I have been looking to change my diet because the older I get the more I seem to have digestive problems. I feel my age, weight, stress and eating habits I have are not very healthy for me. So I am doing some research starting with this book. I always thought fasting was not good for you , but I learned it could be a tool towards a healthier lifestyle. The key is to do intermittent fasting , not just fast and not eat. When I learned how to do this properly it seemed easier than I thought. I stress and then I dont eat, so my body holds on to all its fat because it does know when its going to eat. Loved the stories about successes and the weekly meal planning after menopause. Lifesaver for those who are working. It was helpful to learning about ways to help menopause too. Great read.

This book is written in plain understandable English. Tells us everything we need to know about Intermittent Fasting(IF). explains the benefits, the types of IF. the types of foods to benefit us, how to plan the IF that fits us best. No pills, no changing of foods. I read it all through at once. I highly recommend it for women over 50 needing to lose weight (which was my primary interest) or have other health issues.

very informative
this was a great book with a lot of good information. I learned more information about the health benefits of intermittent fasting beside just weight loss. the information on eating a whole food diet and going vegan was also very helpful. would recommend this book!
