Publisher's summary

In this number one national best seller, a journalist who's been attacked by antifa writes a deeply researched and reported account of the group's history and tactics.

When Andy Ngo was attacked in the streets by antifa in the summer of 2019, most people assumed it was an isolated incident. But those who'd been following Ngo's reporting in outlets like the New York Post and Quillette knew that the attack was only the latest in a long line of crimes perpetrated by antifa.

In Unmasked, Andy Ngo tells the story of this violent extremist movement from the very beginning. He includes interviews with former followers of the group and people who've been attacked by them and incorporates stories from his own life. This book contains a trove of documents obtained by the author, published for the first time ever.

great book

Andy goes into great detail under the shadowy blanket of anonymity and lies of the radical left in the US.

I hope they don't kill him for this book. they really hate being unmasked.

Stereotype busting look into American Antifascists

Left leaning individuals see them as a benign group of eccentricly left leaning individuals fighting against the conservative hate machine.

Right leaning individuals and "milk toast fence sitters" see them as spoiled rich kids larping as colourful haired revolutionaries.

Both are sorely mistaken...

In this exposé, Andy Ngo pulls back the curtain and lifts the mask of America's newest and most misunderstood political force that has long had an influence in shaping the political landscape of Europe.

The real world examples of tactics that are both fear inducing and brutal to a point just shy of lethality (by design) are deceptively cloaked in a guise of banality and leaderless grassroots activism by reconstructing the definition of words and political PSYOPS.

This book changed the way I view the American Antifascists movement.

Ngo isn’t here to tell us what we want here.

I have considered myself to be a leftist for over 60 years. Ngo is telling us some terrible truths. He is not here to tell us what we want to hear. I am in awe of his courage and I thank him for this book.

Awesome book very good narration.

This book shows what is really sadly going on in our great country. It is informative for someone who only listens to mainstream media and what narrative needs to be pushed on the public and doesn’t understand what these groups represent. It is also informative for people who know some of what these groups represent and gives another side of what you know. Good job Mr.Ngo !!!

No party bias, just the facts as Andy sees them.

Imagine a time when journalists tried to get you the facts and allowed people to make their own conclusions. It is a breath of fresh air to read this book. At the end of the book, Andy shares his family story, his background, and perspective. This will help you understand the lens through which he sees the world . Thank you for your bravery to report when bias and cowardice hide and excuse riots, violence, insurrection, lies, etc.

Real journalism

Great book and info. Andy is part of the last bastion of journalistic integrity. Interesting choice for a reader, however.

Fabulous book! Thank you!

This is a great book! I had no idea how long Antifa had been around and I was under the impression it was made up of a bunch of whining kids who didn’t get spanked as children, got participation trophies and who can’t figure out what bathroom to use, throwing a fit, setting fires and hurting people. Now I am angry that the government overlooks them as a domestic terrorist group! Part of me wants for them to be arrested and prosecuted, or to experience real communism and fascism so they will be thankful for American, but the other half of me feels for them. I understand the anger of school debt, bad jobs and not having the ability to buy a house. I guess the best option is to try to educate these kids and give them mentorship, until the government can pull its head out of its ass! I’m thankful to live in a red state where we don’t allow this bullshit. I also bought the paper copy for when Audible (owned by Amazon) decides to pull all books like this and censor our freedoms. Get it while you can!
