Publisher's summary

A challenge is issued. The sky begins to fall. That’s no mountain.

Joe and the Dwarves are doing more than surviving in the harsh climate of Jotunheim: they’re thriving. The Ritualist’s improvements to their defenses are paying dividends; and he’s hailed as a genius for ending threats before they come into striking distance of the burgeoning City. Every day, the Town expands further, allowing for more facilities, a larger population, and drawing in ever-more monsters.

So many beasts that the walls are no longer enough.

Even worse, the upgrade to ascend to City-tier came without warning, and Joe is pushed to the limit to make sure that his friends, allies, and hard work survive the onrushing waves of teeth and flesh. As the citizens of Novusheim face off against a seemingly endless horde, a Legendary monster appears on the horizon—its eyes fixed on Novusheim as it begins to cast grand workings of ice and snow.

The storm isn’t just brewing. It’s already here.

Dwarves and Giants in the Rearview

Another great and enjoyable book. Danielle found, questions about Heart Piercer, Jackson adjusting giants, razor scarf, Jake is a bad..sage, and dwarven extended family. Joe's got a lot going on, but now he is off to new stuff

Heading in the right direction

I've not been pleased with the past several books. This however felt like a turn back to the direction and Joe that I like. I look forward to the next one.

2023 Best Year

Serious talk: best audiobooks of the year to drop were the three for the completionist chronicles.

Great characters and plucky humor to offset the serious nature at times.

I look forward to the fallout of the elves having access via the bridge.

Another great addition to the story of Eternium's most unlikely hero

Another fantastic book with mishaps, accidental solutions, and Joe trying to be his best self. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Still a lot of fun

An easy listen, that is still enjoyable, and doesn’t require too much concentration. Story is lighthearted, and Interesting.

Love the balanced game modification of the series

Honestly, I liked everything about it. It’s a continuation of the series. I really like how Joe is progressing. And I really like how the story is moving from two different perspectives. From Cal Arterian’s perspective.
