Most of us know we own too much stuff. We feel the weight and burden of our clutter, and we tire of cleaning and managing and organizing. While excess consumption leads to bigger houses, faster cars, fancier technology, and cluttered homes, it never brings happiness. Rather, it results in a desire for more. It redirects our greatest passions to things that can never fulfill, and it distracts us from the very lives we wish we were living. But it doesn't have to be this way.

Great daily deal if you missed it, and worth a credit.
This is the 3rd of this type of minimalist books that were the daily deal in the last 12 mos.
Thank you Audible for the selection offered. All three have helped to change my lifestyle.
The publisher summary is spot on so no need to add to it.
This author breaks the steps to your goal down to doable stages you can measure and then manage.
As a recovering shop-a-holic and hoarder, l need these simple but not easy books to help keep me in line, so to speak, and they have so many helpful steps if you fall off the wagon. As I listened to the book at 1.25x speed, l book marked the special chapters that are great for me to spot light.
Good luck. Using these steps gives you energy.

Great strategies that are easily applied
I have been looking at my life, my home and my work and feeling... overwhelmed. This audio book gave strategies and tips for helping to overcome. It looked at a variety of areas in which minimalism can improve a person sense of well being. The narrator was pleasant and clear. I felt that it was worth the time.

Helpful in so many ways
This helped me with so much more than getting rid of stuff, which I was already fairly decent at. It helped me figure out my values on focus on them, which is turning out to be extremely freeing.

Good Read
I enjoyed the book because it spoke on different ways that you can obtain minimalism. It is based around your core values and keeping your goals in line them. Minimalism is not perfection, it is a practice that helps you get the most out of life.

very informative
I felt like I was given most of the tools and information to begin a minimalist lifestyle. There were several references to worksheets, but I don't recall a reference to a website to download them. If there was a website mentioned, it would have been helpful to remind the listener of the web address whenever she told us to write on a worksheet,as other audio books with written work required have done.

Good for a beginner
A lot of basic information but would be a good book to start your journey with.
I was hoping for more information about decluttering - but this is very life-focused.

Listened to it twice
Listening to this compels you to write lists and get to work. I had to listen to it twice, and will probably listen to it again.

Wonderful words of wisdom
This book offers practical advice that is able to be implemented right away. I wish I’d had this book to guide me years ago when I began to weed out the things that no longer worked for me. This book would have gotten me where I wanted to go much sooner. A fabulous overall life guide!
