Narrator Perfection
I've enjoyed all of Edward Marston's books. They are unfussy with well-developed plots, intriguing mysteries, and interesting characters. The Ocean Liner series is entertaining, and I suggest they be read in order. Murder on the Caronia is the 4th. It can stand as an independent book but is enhanced by knowing the backstory. I want to applaud the narrator for this book - James Langton. Excellent job- one of the best I have encountered, and I am a long-time audiobook listener. This book called for a variety of accents and characterizations - British, French, American, class, haughty, distressed, male, female, rustic - with quick changes in dialogue. Langton did this perfectly. It just takes a good book up a notch.
