What a exciting ride that was
The story was a little confusing when it first started but once I picked up that this is in the future I was hooked. I enjoyed the story very much. A must if you like stories why a hunk of real life and sci-if.

Couldn't get into or follow it
The narrator was good, but the story just didn't develop. I kept waiting for something interesting to happen, but it is a lot of technical space travel set up.

I promise it really grows on you! Good story and!
I generally like my sifi further in the future but this story really grew on me. excellent performance and writing style. solid interesting characters. I look forward to the next book. Though this was quite good stand alone... you could let your imagination work out what's next.

a blast from another world
this was published in 2015, during the Obama presidency, and is there for a future of that time and legacy. no American space program. no private space programs like Amazon or Musk. it felt like I was reading a blast from the Cold War or something. it is amazing how much our world has changed in the seven years since this book was published.
as for the boom itself, it is good and enjoyable. and the main characters are fun. I liked it.
