Crouch was a one trick pony

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I would say this was one of the silliest premises ever, and the protagonist was as silly as the premise so no. Please don't buy into the this mind blowing spoiler, it is not mind blowing ithe is a sad sad book. Personally I would be embarrassed to have my name on it.

Would you be willing to try another book from Blake Crouch? Why or why not?

I can't really answer that I might get suckered in with one of audibles great advertisements, and then bam I am listening to another very stupid book.

Whyyyyy I hope this book doesn't inspire anyone that would be concerning.

I really liked Wayward Pines, I thought it was pretty good. This book is rubbish. You have been warned.

Wow

Amazing scientific concept and well explained (I think.... I am not a physicist) story line kept me engaged. A good listen

Unrealistic pseudo-science but makes a great story

The book's depiction of quantum mechanics seemed a little silly and contrived, but it laid the groundwork for some very interesting storytelling. I had figured out the predictable (in my opinion) twist in the first 3 or so chapters which made plodding through to the reveal a chore, but to my surprise that revelation only marked the halfway point in the story. Everything after that was actually quite interesting.

Love a Book That Makes Me Ponder

Not only was this book entertaining, well narrated, and well-paced but it also made me stop and think about the absurdity of my regrets around life choices. All that for one credit who could ask for more?

A real page turner

The premise is interesting so it drew me in but I don’t think I was expecting such a page turner from beginning to end.

Wow – excellent listen!! This book will keep you on the edge of your seats – and keep you hugging your family extra hard!

Best auduibook in 10 years. i enjoyrd Blake Crouche's Wayward Pines trilogy but this was on another kevel!

Literally listened to this in a day and 1/2 couldn't stop listening. What an incredible story, well written and provocative. Would totally recommend

Good overall, was expecting more at the end

At first I wasn't sure what was going to happen! I expected more than what I got at the end. It really felt like the end could have been much more. This could definitely be a movie though.

I have read another book with similar concept but, this was better. similarly done fun.
