I absolutely loved it!
This is a well-done version of beauty and the beast. I listened every second i could to this wonderful story. I adored the characters, and the storyline was unique... which made it even better! I was hooked from the first... in fact I wanted more when it came to its ending... thank you for the enjoyment!

Listened for the narrator
I am a huge Mary Jane Wells fan and listened for the narration. This is my first Hannah Howell experience. I enjoyed the writing style, liked the story, and felt connected to the characters. The dialog was witty, it made me laugh several times.

Good book
The storyline was a bit predictable, but the characters were well done and each had to overcome their own perceptions of themselves and each other. I liked the banter between them. I’d recommend this book!

Narrator was quiet
It was a good story and the narrator was good but she was just so soft spoken that I had a hard time focusing on what she was saying and she was a bit quiet

just a pretty boring plot... no chemistry no emotion...like a computer wrote it...and though normally I like Mary Jane Wells' narration, even she couldn't salvage it...

Kind of weird
I have never read a hero who was such a dunderhead as I did in this book. He constantly made huge ill advised decisions that made me just not want to put up with him. It never ended, up until the end... each time he was accepted back after a few words. words mind you, not actions... Because then he'd do something else so insulting and shocking. I mean, what author writes a hero this way?
I usually love Mary Jane Wells narration, but she couldn't save this.
